Help - Director/Secretary Search
You can use our Director search to search for:
a company officer (company director or company secretary)
Once you have identified the person, you will be able to select reports and documents
that relate to them. In most cases, you will first need to select from a list
of matches, as there are often similar or identical names.
Company Director/Secretary Search
To search for a person, enter at least their surname and as many other details
as you know about them (from a selection of either County, Town or Full Postcode).
If you cannot find the person you want, gradually delete the information input
until you find a match. So, for example, if you have entered a town and cannot
find a match, delete the town field and resubmit your search. Bear in mind that
common names can have a large number of matches and entering, for example, SMITH
in the surname field with no other information will return a very long list indeed!
In theory, a company director or company secretary should only be on the database
once. Companies House assign a unique "person number" to each individual
which is then recorded against each company in which they are an officer. In
practice, however, individuals may have several person numbers associated with
them, and you may need to do more than one search to find all the appointments
for an individual.
